Ahmad Shammari is a principal production engineer with more than 20 years of experience in production engineering, flow assurance and digital oilfield solutions. He is the “Product Champion” for Pipesim, the industry leading steady-state multiphase flow simulator. Prior to joining SLB in 2017, Ahmad worked with Saudi Aramco for 15 years and served as a technical consultant and a project manager in various oil and gas design and optimization projects that covered diverse production engineering areas such as: integrated asset modeling, flow assurance, advanced completions, and artificial lift. Ahmad was granted four patents in well modeling and reservoir performance monitoring and hold a master's degree in petroleum engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia and has published various SPE papers and participated in numerous training courses, workshops and webinars for academia and the O&G industry
